About Living Holistic

We Exist to Proclaim Jesus Christ and Make
Disciples of All Nations

Through the ministry of holistic wellness, we demonstrate that true wholeness — spirit, soul, and body — is found only in Him.

ur story

From a Seed of Faith to a Harvest of Souls

Living Holistic began with a simple conviction: God designed the human body to heal, and He provided everything we need in His creation to support that healing. What started as a passion for biblical herbalism, nutrition, and natural wellness quickly grew into something much bigger — a community of people hungry for wholeness.

But as the community grew, God made something unmistakably clear: the herbs were never the point. The nutrition was never the point. They were always meant to be a bridge — a way to reach people where they hurt so we could introduce them to the One who truly heals.

Today, Living Holistic is an apostolic ministry where the gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed through every service, every class, and every conversation. People walk through our doors looking for an herb for their anxiety and walk out with eternal life. That is not a business model — it is the Kingdom of God in action.

We are located in The Woodlands, Texas,

and we are just getting started!

OUR MISSION

Why we exist

Living Holistic exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and make disciples of all nations by demonstrating that true wholeness — spirit, soul, and body — is found only in Him. We steward the gift of holistic wellness as a bridge to the transforming power of the Gospel, equipping believers to walk in divine health and carry the apostolic mandate to heal the sick, cast out demons, and preach the Kingdom of God.

WHAT DRIVES US

Our Core Values

Gospel Primacy

The proclamation of salvation through Jesus Christ is the center of everything we do. Every service, class, and gathering points to the cross.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation." — Romans 1:16

Apostolic Authority

We operate under the apostolic mandate to go, preach, teach, heal, and make disciples. We are sent ones, carrying the authority of the Kingdom.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations." — Matthew 28:19

Stewardship of the Body

God designed us as spirit, soul, and body. True healing begins with spiritual rebirth and extends to every area of life.

"Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you." — 1 Corinthians 6:19

Equipping the Saints

We train and release believers to carry the gospel and holistic ministry into their homes, workplaces, and communities.

"For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry." — Ephesians 4:12

Alisha Hicks
Apostle & Founder, Living Holistic

Alisha grew up among ranchers, farmers, & Alaska homesteaders — raised by a survivalist father and doctored by an uncle gifted in naturopathic & cultural medicine from around the world & mentored by a pastoral grandfather. The land, the herbs, and the wisdom of God's creation were woven into her life from the beginning.

After her own health transformation through biblical herbs and cellular therapy, Alisha pursued certifications in Herbalism, Nutrition, Emotional release, Breathwork, and is currently studying Naturopathy at Kingdom College of Natural Medicine. She is registered with the American Herbalist Guild and the Association of Complementary Medicine.

Through Heritage Havens, her virtual practice, she serves Christian families across all 50 states. But as the practice grew, God revealed something she couldn't ignore: the herbs were always His, the healing was always His, and the people He was sending weren't just looking for remedies — they were looking for Him. That revelation birthed Living Holistic — an apostolic ministry in The Woodlands, Texas, where every consultation begins with prayer, every herb points to the Creator, and every person has the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ.

Alisha is a wife, homeschooling mother, and a woman who lives what she teaches. But above every title and certification, she is a servant of Jesus Christ — and her deepest joy is watching someone walk in looking for an herb and walk out with eternal life.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised."
— Luke 4:18

Our Faith

What we believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God — the final authority for all matters of faith, practice, and daily living (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and united in purpose (Matthew 28:19).

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily on the third day, and ascended to the right hand of the Father (1 Corinthians 15:3–4).

Salvation

We believe salvation is a free gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not by works. All who repent and believe are born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 2:8–9, Romans 10:9–10).

Divine Healing

We believe healing is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is available to all believers through prayer, the laying on of hands, and faith (Isaiah 53:5, James 5:14–15). We also honor God's natural provision of herbs, nutrition, and holistic care as expressions of His healing design (Genesis 1:29).

The Great Calling

We believe every believer is called to make disciples, baptize, and teach — carrying the gospel to every sphere of life and every corner of the earth (Matthew 28:18–20).

The Church

We believe in the universal Church as the body of Christ and the importance of the local assembly for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission (Hebrews 10:25, Acts 2:42–47).
